Seo-Ta-Ji is a very famous singer and song writer in Korea. There are many Korean know that he is a real musician in Korea. Before he and his group that name is Seo-Ta-Ji and Boys came out in a media, Korean music style was similar to Japan’s music that is “En-Ka”. When he and his group showed up, they changed Korean music style to rap and dance music. When he was 14 years-old, he started at music. He joined several armature rock groups. At the age of 17 years-old, he was picked by the rock group which name is Sinawi. At that time he decided to quit high school, because he just wanted to focus on his music. After he went out from the band, he started a dance group with dancers, Lee-Jun-O and Yang-Hyeon-Seok. The name is “Seo-TA-Ji and Boys”. Their first single, “I Know” in 1991, changed the basic music style in Korea. Even if many singer song writers who are very famous in Korea-pop evaluated their first music as that is lower level of music. Many people loved their music, and wanted to buy their first single. Whenever they released third single, they tried to show their new style’s music; for example, the first single is rap and dance, second and third single was heavy metal. Many professional song writers in Korea think that we cannot develop our K-pop, because of their new challenge. Now we call him the “President of Culture” in Korea. Because whenever he comes back into the media as a solo, he creates a culture of music and makes new things; for example his fashion, music; like a Michael Jackson in the USA. However, the reason that the people love him continually is his thought of fans. Even if he is super star in Korea, he always cares about his fans at his concert. He hasn’t trace for money and he just really like music. Therefore, we can call him “The president of culture” and “real musician”.

Thank to you I understood about the modern music culture in your country Korea. Right now I have a clear view what Korean teenagers like to listen. Also, you gave a good example for successful person who has a big influence in you culture. Moreover, II think Seo Ta- Ji is an illustration for young successful person. I am impress that in each part of the world exist people who are very young, but at the same time they realized their dream and put a mark in history of their country. Something more, Seo is a wonderful symbol for young generation, because they can take lessons from his success and they can understand that when you have talent, ambition, and desire to reach their dreams, they should never give up and to follow their goals until the end.
You surprised me with the words that Seo always cares about his fans. We know some popular music star do not have interest about their fans. When they became famous, they received very high self- esteem and forget about the people around them. However, it is nice that Seo Ta-Ji has never forgotten his audience and pay a big attention to them. Definitely, he likes his job and he is ready to give all the best from himself only because he wants his fans to be happy. I think he makes very attractive, funny, and unusual concerts that nobody can forget for a long time after that.
I think everybody likes him not only he has a nice, good attitude to his audience, but also because he made a revolution in Korean culture. He created a new music style and he totally changed the music preferences of all Korean teenagers. He did a lot for your country and music culture.
I listened some of his songs. For example, I heard “I know”- Seo’s first song, “Pilseung”, “Moai”, “Juliet”, and “Ultramania”. To be honest I didn’t like his first song. The new songs are much better comparing with his previous songs from the beginning of his career. Consequently, it is means that he improve his style and he has established his music style that has a great influence on everybody in Korea.
I managed that he uses untypical instruments and sounds in some song. Therefore, Seo Ta- Jie is a big innovator for Korean music style and tradition.
I like Seo and I will recommend him to my friends. I am sure they will like him.
